Wonjoong Jung
Centre Head, Korea

Over the past 22 years, I’ve dedicated my career to developing technology and industry promotion policies in deep-tech fields — including AI, semiconductors, 5G, and robotics — within Gyeonggi Province.

My key career achievements include leading international joint research on intelligent robotics, establishing and operating the 5G Open Lab (approximately KRW 40 billion), creating AI clusters across five regions including Pangyo, and building the Physical AI Lab. Currently, at C4IR Korea, I lead strategic initiatives focused on the global expansion and scale-up of deep-tech startups spanning AI, advanced manufacturing, and climate technology.

I hold a Ph.D. in Digital Policy, and my work continues to be driven by a belief that the right policies can unlock the next wave of technological transformation.

Always open to connecting with innovators, policymakers, and investors who share a passion for deep tech and the future of industry.

Daisy Jung
Innovation Community Team, Team Leader

I began my career at Hewlett-Packard’s APAC Sales Center in Malaysia, followed by Intel’s APAC Sales Center in Kuala Lumpur, where I developed a strong foundation in global sales operations, customer account management, and order analysis within multinational corporate environments.

In 2007, I joined GBSA and have since accumulated over 19 years of experience leading international business development and innovation support initiatives. My expertise spans global exhibitions and market development delegations, exhibition planning and management, overseas office operations, startup and business re-establishment support, employment initiatives, and regulatory sandbox consulting and implementation to accelerate innovation-driven enterprises.

MJ Kim
WEF cooperation Team, Team Leader

I bring 17 years of experience advancing Korea’s global business competitiveness through export promotion, foreign investment attraction, and international cooperation. With a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations and a Master’s degree in Public Policy, I’ve built expertise in translating policy into practical outcomes within a public enterprise support institution.

I specialize in international collaboration, helping Korean companies expand globally while turning policy into business opportunities. Through my work with the WEF at C4IR Korea, I focus on converting global agendas into actionable strategies that drive scale-up, innovation, and measurable local impact.

Younghoon Kwon
Global Industry Information Team, Team Leader

For more than a decade, I have worked across local government, public institutions, and provincial administration, helping connect public vision with industry and citizens through policy communication, public relations, and external cooperation. I am particularly interested in interpreting and structuring global technological and industrial shifts so that companies in Gyeonggi Province can identify new opportunities. At C4IR Korea, I contribute to translating global agendas into local action and practical collaboration.

Jiho Song
WEF cooperation Team, Manager

With 14 years of experience at GBSA managing overseas offices to support SME exports, I have developed deep expertise in both operational management and market-specific strategies. Prior to this, I spent 4 years at a government-affiliated conformity laboratory, where I specialized in international cooperation. In this role, I played a key role in building strategic partnerships with global laboratories to help SMEs navigate complex international regulatory frameworks and ensure seamless export compliance. Leveraging this extensive background in global networking and strategic operations, I am now eager to localize the Davos agenda and effectively apply it to the business development of Korean companies.

Gyumin Lee
Innovation Community Team, Assistant Manager

Over the past 5 years, I worked at a public organization supporting SMEs, where I assisted Korean companies in their growth and export market development through planning and operating export marketing programs. I also coordinated with domestic and international stakeholders, supported business matching, and contributed to strengthening global competitiveness. I am currently in charge of programs at C4IR Korea that identify innovative companies in promising fields such as AI and bio and support global expansion. In this role, I focus on connecting these companies with the C4IR network and facilitating collaboration opportunities.

Minjung Hong
Innovation Community Team, Assistant Manager

With 3 years of experience in Official Development Assistance (ODA) across agriculture, trade, education and gender equality, I have supported the global engagement of Korean public institutions. Through implementing invitation-based training programmes, I have facilitated international partnerships and managed programme performance. I have designed knowledge-sharing initiatives that translate Korean policy experience into practical learning opportunities for overseas public officials. I currently work in the Innovation Community Team at C4IR Korea, connecting stakeholders across the global C4IR network and supporting Korean startups and innovators in expanding on the global stage

Jihye Choi
WEF cooperation Team, Assistant Manager

I am an Assistant Manager in the WEF Cooperation Team at the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Korea. In this role, I am responsible for strengthening global collaboration networks and identifying new partnership opportunities with the World Economic Forum (WEF). I also plan and operate key programs such as the Panda Forum (Pangyo Meets Davos), promoting dialogue and knowledge sharing on global agendas, emerging issues, and trends in technology and industry related to Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.

Jieun Shin
Global Industry Information Team, Assistant Manager

With experience in public administration and social service operations, I have worked on housing welfare programs, administrative coordination, and public support services. These experiences strengthened my capabilities in system management, data handling, and stakeholder communication.

At C4IR Korea, I support the development and dissemination of global industry insights, helping connect global agendas and emerging trends with local industries and stakeholders.

Changwon Lee
Global Industry Information Team, Assistant Manager

With a background in engineering, I gained approximately three years of hands-on experience on the front lines of the materials and semiconductor industries. I then joined the 4th Industrial Revolution Center as Deputy Team Leader of the Global Industry Intelligence Team, where I publish interactive reports that reinterpret global industrial shifts for a domestic audience. I am also developing the PDI (Pangyo Davos Index), a metric that enables objective benchmarking and diagnosis of Pangyo-based companies' competitiveness against global standards. Bridging the technical sensibility forged on the factory floor with a strategic, analyst's view of the broader industry landscape, my mission is to help Korean companies cultivate a global industrial perspective — and to make that transformation measurable.
